How to Play ClanGen: A Quick Guide for New Leaders

Getting started in ClanGen is easy, but leading a thriving Clan requires heart, strategy, and a bit of luck.

1. Create Your Clan

When you launch the game:

Choose a biome (Forest, Moor, Marsh, etc.), which determines your Clan’s surroundings.
Pick your starter cats, including the leader, deputy, medicine cat, and warriors.
Name your Clan—this is your legacy!

2. Navigate the Main Tabs

The game interface is organized with intuitive menus:

Clan Info: Shows your territory, Clan rank hierarchy, and key stats.
Cats Tab: View individual cats, their traits, relationships, and history.
Events Tab: Follow new stories—patrols, prophecies, births, battles, and more!
Medicine Cat Den: Manage health, injuries, and spiritual messages from StarClan.
Clan Settings: Customize game speed, autosave, difficulty, and more.

3. Advance Time – Watch the Story Unfold

You can advance time by:

Clicking “Next Moon” moves forward a month.
Sending out patrols to discover herbs, meet rogues, or encounter danger.
Letting your cats age, grow, fall in love, have kits, or face hardships.

Each moon is different, and each choice can lead to unforeseen events—watch your Clan grow and change before your eyes.

Left-click to select cats or interact with tabs.
