A Galaxy That Never Sleeps

StarBlast is a very rapid and well-liked among .io games to the fullest, online multiplayer space shooter, and one of the best .io games ever developed. The basic idea of this game is to control your ship in the large non-earth arena, which is loaded with asteroids, foes, and secret perils.

Unquestionably, to the casual observer, StarBlast may be perceived as yet another space shooter; however, the truth is quite the contrary. The whole scenario has been very much alive with a constantly changing universe permeated by real-time wars, resource management, and competitive enhancements.

You start your adventure from the very bottom of the ladder, flying a very weak ship that goes for nothing but mining asteroids to get gems. However, you will soon be going up the ranks to a war machine — one of 31 unique ship types that each have different strengths, weapons, and playing styles.

How To Play StarBlast (And Survive It)

The game may sound simple, but the tension is high all the time. Below is the core loop:

  • Mine asteroids – Gather gems to increase your resources and ship stats.
  • Upgrade your ship – Boost shields, speed, and weapon power to stay ahead.
  • Fight other players – Engage in fast, tactical dogfights to claim their gems.
  • Evolve strategically – Choose your next ship carefully — some excel at speed, others at brute strength.
  • Dominate the leaderboard – Outlast rivals to become the most feared pilot in the sector.

Control can be done using arrow keys or the mouse, and the whole experience is very smooth, which is in contrast to the gameplay that is super intense.

Four Game Modes, Infinite Chaos

StarBlast does not force you to be locked to one particular way of playing, as it allows you to choose from four different game modes, which in turn will completely change the way you experience space warfare:

  • Survival Mode: One ship, one life. Last as long as you can.
  • Teams Mode: Cooperate with other pilots for the galaxy's control.
  • Deathmatch: Only skill counts. No mining, no upgrades—only fighting.
  • ??? (New Mode): A highly chaotic secret new mode is coming at launch—expect chaos.

Moreover, if that is not sufficient, StarBlast allows players to design their own games.
