Planet Merge is this colorful merge game that kinda drags you into a playful ride through space. The point is to line up similar planets, stitch them together into bigger celestial things, and then help Sputnik move closer to the real destination, the Sun. The rules sound simple enough, but once the planet pile starts stacking up, where you put things starts mattering more than people expect.
Basically, you merge planets by dropping matching celestial bodies right next to each other. When two planets of the same type meet, they fuse into a larger planet. Then you keep repeating those successful merges, building up grander worlds while you push forward toward the Sun.
The controls feel straightforward, so it’s pretty easy to jump in even if you’re brand new. Still, careful placement is required… because dropping a planet at the wrong angle can make it roll, bounce, or collide in ways you did not really plan.
Gravity adds this extra brain-work to Planet Merge. After a planet finally lands, it may roll toward nearby objects and cause collisions you did not see coming. Sometimes just one good merge can trigger a chain reaction, and that can clear room for yet another combination.
Also, as the celestial bodies get bigger, the space you can use starts shrinking, and managing the whole pile becomes harder. So you kinda need to think ahead, and avoid letting the expanding mass slip out of the play area.
