What Is Color Jump?

Color Jump is an extremely colorful and challenging arcade game where your mission is to direct a figure through different kinds of color barriers that constantly appear. The catch? You can only go through the sections of the barriers that are of the same color as your character at that moment. Be it yellow, red, blue, or purple—be alert because one mistake and you are out of the game!

The game's pace is fast, the graphics are bright, and every jump keeps you in suspense. With each new level, the barriers become more complicated, thus requiring more of your timing and attention to detail.

How to Play Color Jump

Color Jump might sound easy, but to become a great player, it will take you skill and precision. Here are the steps on how to play:

Choose Your Character

You can select your favorite shape—rectangle, triangle or circle—at the beginning of the game. This does not change the difficulty but it is a nice way to personalize your gaming experience.

Start the Challenge

To your run, click Start. Your shape will move up automatically.

Match the Colors

Only your character can cross the parts of the obstacles that are the same color as it is. If you run into an area with a different color, the game will come to an end immediately. The right timing is crucial for you because the obstacles will be spinning, sliding, and rotating—success will depend on the exact timing.

Tap or Click to Jump

The screen must be tapped or clicked to make your character jump or go up slowly. Each tap is a lifting of your shape, so it will require you to be in total control of the timing in order to connect the hops with the rotating colors.

Collect Coins & Score Points

Pick up coins during the level that gets you higher up. Your score will increase with the coins collected, and they might be used for unlocking some new features or characters in future updates.

Tips for Success

• Stay Focused: There is a swift change in colors and patterns, hence concentration is very important.
• Time Your Jumps: Don’t hurry—wait till your color is perfectly aligned with the barrier.
  
• Plan Ahead: Observe the rotating barriers first, prior to moving; the wait can be worthwhile at times.
  
• Practice Makes Perfect: Every game round enhances your reflexes and timing.
