What is Build A Plane?

Build A Plane is a free-to-play aircraft construction game where you design your flying machine and test it in a procedurally generated biome. Every run offers a new set of challenges and obstacles, from bouncing mushrooms to the Strange floating barrier. Target? As far as you can, earn cash and upgrade your aircraft for better performance.

Build A Plane Gameplay Guide

The gameplay of Build A Plane is simple, but the possibilities are very large. How to play here:

1. Build your aircraft

Start in the hangar with some basic blocks. Use a drag-and-drop interface to keep wings, engines, and special pieces. You can unlock new rare and mutated blocks from the shop as soon as you earn more coins. Each block has different effects - some help you glide further, others protect you from speed or damage.

2. Fly and Explore

Once your aircraft is ready, launch it! Your aircraft will be full of randomly generated environments, bright colors, obstacles, and fun surprises. Tap or click to keep your aircraft balanced as you climb through the sky.

Watch out for:

Wind tunnel
Moving walls
Gravity flips
Sudden drops

Each biome has its unique taste, making each flight feel fresh and exciting.

3. Earn and upgrade

At the end of each flight, you will earn coins based on how far you travel. Spend your earnings in the shop to buy:

New block types
Extended engine
Fuel booster
Strong wings

As you collect more uncommon and one-of-a-kind blocks, your aircraft becomes more capable. Want to make a dragon-shaped jet with thrusters? Go for it. Or a funky-looking UFO with a bubble shield? All this is possible.

4. Offline progression

Even when you are not playing, your aircraft continues to generate resources. This offline gameplay mechanic means that you are always earning, making you beneficial to return and upgrade whenever you want.
