Wave Race

Wave Race is a quick arcade game. It tests how well you can focus and react in time.

You guide a simple arrow shape through a tight path. The route shifts all the time. The controls are basic, but the game turns hard and fast. One wrong move and you slam into a wall. So you have to time each action with care.

The goal stays simple. Try to go as far as you can. Then try to top your own high score.

A Light Start, Then Pressure

At first, Wave Race feels almost calm. Your arrow keeps moving ahead on its own. There is no need to steer left or right.

What you do manage is the height. You hold the input to lift the arrow, and you let go to drop it. It seems easy, but the level is built to punish sloppy timing.\

Narrow corridors show up. Sharp spikes can pop out. Slopes appear. Rotating gears turn in the way. And walls may show up with little warning. You have to decide to go up or down before the safe space is gone.

Wave Race Controls

The controls are not hard to pick up. That means you can spend more brainpower on the path.

• Mouse or W or Spacebar: Move up
• Release the control: Move down
• P: Pause the game

You do not move left or right. Your job is to keep the arrow at the right height while it keeps going forward by itself.

How to Play Wave Race

To do well, you need to learn how the arrow reacts when you hold or release.

Hold to Rise

If the road ahead is higher, or something is coming up from below, hold W, Spacebar, or the mouse. Let the arrow climb.

Do not keep it held the whole time. Touching the top can be risky in the same way as hitting the bottom.

Release to Descend

When you need the arrow to go down, let go of the control and keep an eye on what comes next.
