Hexbound is a high-speed retro FPS where quick reactions accurate shooting, and some honest to goodness smart exploration are really the keys to staying alive. It takes inspiration from those old run and gun shooters, but still manages to slam brutal firefights right together with magic, plus weapon upgrades and a steady push forward

Fight Explore and Find the Way Out

Your main mission in Hexbound is simple on paper. Survive each dangerous region and then find the exit. Getting there though is never as easy as it sounds. The maps feel cluttered with enemies, tricky hidden spots, valuable resources, and hazards that can flip a calm looking area into something that kills you real fast.

Exploring actually matters a lot. Instead of just sprinting toward the next objective, you kinda need to look around , carefully. There are concealed areas that might hold useful loot, little surprises, and secrets that later on can make a huge difference in those tougher fights.

Keep Moving in Every Battle

Hexbound combat is built around speed, precision, and nonstop movement. Demons, robots, monsters and other terrifying things will come at you from different angles, so staying put is usually a bad plan.

You want to move fast while keeping your aim locked on enemies that are closing in. Dodge incoming attacks, make some space when they get too close, and don’t let multiple foes trap you. The quicker you react, and the more accurate you are, the better your odds in those intense firefights.

Hexbound blends classic FPS gunplay with magical skills, and a progression system for your weapons. You blast through hostile creatures with your arsenal, then you upgrade as you go, getting stronger step by step.
